Risoul

Risoul is slightly more low-key than many of the other resorts we offer, however it should not be overlooked. If you are running a trip on a budget, this is defiantly a resort to consider.

Risoul boasts a good snow record and the off-piste opportunities are plentiful. When combined with the neighbouring resort of Vars, Risoul offers almost 180 km of piste as well as plenty of steep unmarked runs.

The après ski is fairly limited; however the bars that are there really do know how to get the party going. They all have a really friendly feel to them, with less attitude that can be found in larger resorts, it’s always an enjoyable evening out.

Other Activities: Most of the non-ski activities in Risoul are also outdoor. Snowshoe walks are available, and ice skating is available from 2pm to 10pm on a natural outdoor ice rink Tandem microlight flights are also available. Snowmobiling excursions are organised in the evening when the slopes are closed and ski joring - being towed behind a pony on your skis - is a more unusual opportunity.
