 While half the country has to reluctantly face the reality of the long summer days and occasional sunshine coming to an end, the rest of us snow lovers are barely holding our excitement in as the winter draws nearer. To get us all ready for the 2011/12 season; Ski Alpine have teamed up with The Ski and Snowboard Show to get you into the ski vibe (fingers crossed for better weather this season!).

The Ski and Snowboard Show is one of the best ski shows in the world. This year the show gets a facelift with fresh new attractions, delicious food and clothing discounts ready for this coming season. It is the perfect place to get all your pre-season shopping and last minute essentials before your well anticipated ski holiday. There is plenty going on, you can get involved with snow tubing, the Aosta rodeo, Ollie competitions and much more! Whether you’re a student, graduate, professional or getting ready to go on a ski season, this will give you access to the best information and products out there. There are over 160 ski resorts, 22 different retailers, a 50ft hip kicker, fashion show & brand arena, live music, 4 bars, 230 shops and stands plus loads more attractions.

The show is essential for any snowsports fans; from beginner’s right through to professionals. There are approximately 22 retailers selling everything from clearance through to brand new top of the range gear. Make sure you make the most of the last ski sales here. There are also plenty of opportunities to stock up on lots of freebies and win ski holidays around the world!

More Show Highlights:

• To get the party started every evening we’ll be hosting après sessions with live music from international musicians and DJS (acts to be announced soon).
• Land Rover Fashion Show & Brand Arena showcasing all the latest styles in snow sport apparel for the 2011 winter season complete with break dancers, base layers and giveaways that are so hot they’re cold.
• Les 3 Vallees Resort Bar will be setting the scene for how to celebrate après ski in style, with the Resort Bar keeping things lively.
• World Food Pavilion will excite the taste buds with food samples from all over the world.
• Check out the Natives Job Fair open from 11am – 5pm on Saturday 22nd October. Natives Job Fair is the leading seasonal recruitment event – so if you are thinking of doing a ski season, they are the first place to look!
